The Divorce Diet and ½ Marathon Plans

  • My husband and I separated two weeks ago. We began divorce proceedings this week.
  • I’m on the divorce diet: just not hungry. I’ve lost 12 lbs.
  • I’m going to train to walk the Women’s Running Magazine ½ Marathon in November.

That’s all I got.

    That must be very stressful. I am sorry to hear you’ve dropped so much weight under such unfortunate circumstances. I think giving yourself a goal such as this is a great idea. You may find you even run a step or two.

    I’m so sorry. I know this can’t be an easy time, so the 1/2 might be a nice attempt at diversion.

    Sorry to hear about the sad news but I’m excited for you to train for the 1/2 marathon. I’m brand new to running and will be full on training soon for the Reggae Marathon 1/2 that will happen in Jamaica this Dec. Hubby and I are going to do it but most likely I’ll do the run/walk. It would be great to keep up with each others progress!

    I am so sorry for the disspointment and sadness you must be experiencing.Take care of yourself, be kind, forgiving and do what you must to get through this time. I speak from experience when I say the second divorce is easier! ;-)

    I am so so sorry to hear this news. Training for something will hopefully give you an outlet for the stress, anger, frustration and sadness you must be feeling. Best of luck and know that we are thinking of you and wishing you the best from DC.

    Wow!! I’m so sorry for what you are going through. Hang in there. I think the 1/2 will help you focus on something other than the frustration and sadness you are probably experiencing. You are in my thoughts!
