Mood: Anxious (I'm always anxious on mondays)
Breakfast: Kashi Honey Sunshine and milk
Stressin’: Not enough to do at work
Lovin’: My power yoga classes

____ makes me happy: Fresh air
____ makes me b*tchy: gray skies
Highlight of my weekend: 2 yr anniversary with the boyfriend!

Weekly goals: Track on Sparkpeople, Run 3x, ST 2x, Yoga 3x

Just another manic Monday? Yes...need to find more work to do and stop reading blogs while at work!!!:)

Bah, I hate yoga. Today I am in that first frame of mind and trying to get out of it.

Have you ever tried martial arts? From what you wrote, it sounds like it might be right up your alley. Something like Tae Kwon Do has different belt colours that you can attain, and even more levels after you achieve a black belt. Just something to maybe think about.

I'm really glad you are blogging about your struggles and not giving up. Even though your mind was racing during corpse...at least you were there, making progress toward your goals. Good luck and keep moving forward one choice at a time.

I removed all candy, chips and ice cream from my home. Anything I used to binge on. Gone. If they're not there, I can't eat them. I don't even go down those aisles in the grocery store. Not going there. Not even an option for making their way into my basket.

Now, if I really crave ice cream (or whatever), I have to go out and get it in a separate trip. And I get it in a single serving or share it with someone.

Also, I stopped reading fashion mags. I only read selected fitness mags that promote healthy living and body image.

Online weight-loss sites are triggering to me so I stay away. I found that they set me up for failure because if I couldn't be "perfect" and eat perfectly for the day, then I'd be "perfectly bad" and start the binge cycle. Yep, very black and white for me.

I do not own a scale. I threw it out years ago! Very satisfying :) I do weigh on my Wii Fit maybe once every other week. I do not own kitchen scales. I don't use measuring cups except when cooking from a recipe. I found when I used them more often, I became obsessive about them. I have an eye for appropriate serving sizes (a deck of cards for a meat serving, for example). That works better for me.

Wishing you the best getting rid of the triggers in your life! :)

TV commercials are the biggest--practically the ONLY trigger--I face. I don't watch TV much in the summer at all, and I really notice a difference in the fall when all my shows come back on. I should probably just record them all and skim through the commercials, but waiting, say, an extra hour to watch House is just too hard for me. ;o)

You are all over the internet!

I agree, don't stop writing. It's like giving in. Even if you are struggling just blog about that. That's what I did and it helped me get past that part. Struggles are part of the process.

Kelly no matter what do not stop writing. That is the one thing that will help keep you moving forward. When you are ready soething will happen that will help push you just a little farther, I promise. Every time I have thought about stopping is when someone left a comment or encouraged me through and email. I would have never gotten that if I had stopped. It may be slow but if your moving ahead then it will all work out.
BTW it's your writing that has everyone so intrigued not whether or not you lose weight. The weight is on you and your personal feeling. Everyone here on the internet just likes you, no matter what ;)
